Does anyone know what might cause one's AC to fluctuate in temperature. It feels like sometimes the AC is working just fine, but then all of a sudden the air coming out will be warm. I have checked the refrigerant pressure with a gauge an it seems within normal. If anyone could shed some light on this problem I would greatly appreciate it. I'm hoping it is something simple that I won't need to take to the mechanic for.

Possible causes include ...
- faulty controls or wiring (A/C mistakenly thinks it was turned off)
- faulty controls or wiring (temperature control mistakenly thinks it was turned from coldest to warmest)
- faulty compressor clutch
- refrigerant contaminated with moisture
- faulty Triple-pressure switch
