Is it just me or is there no engine compartement overhead light?! Hello? Nissan? I don't think I've ever seen a car, no matter what price range, not have one. Anyway, is there a way to install one? One that will function like a would-be o.e.m.? Ex. runs off the car's battery/power, turns on when hood is opened, etc.? If anybody has done this, any info. would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Have a great weekend! :)

no they dont have em' for some reason, what i would do if you wanted to, you can get one of these cool switches that is like two little plastic pieces with metal on the inside, i dont remember the name, but when pulled apart the thing turns on, u can get it at radioshack, get a bulb and a holder of some sort, install it where u want, then run wires, if it was on the actual hood the wiring could easily be hidden, and you can see how the switch would work

Because of cost cutting, that's why they don't have them.
