Wheel Spaceing

I just installed a set of 16x8 rims on my 97 Maxima. The problem I am having is that the front rims/tires appear to stick out of the wheel wells more then the back does. Is there a problem with my rims or do I need to do something myself. I have heard somethings about rear wheel spacers? I would appreciate any advice.

The fronts do stick out more than the rear... You COULD put spacers in the back to fix the LOOK but it would probably screw up the handling of your car (probably more understeer). Nissan apparently made it that way to balance the handling of the car... There's nothing wrong with your rims (unless you got he overall offset which should be about 40mm)

So it appears the fronts are slanted?

The fronts stick out more, yes, but is that because they are tilted outwards at the top of the wheel well?
