I ordered an intake adapter from Summit Racing for $12.99 with "FREE" shipping as they advertise all over their site but they didn't mention the $6.75 handling fee. It is part number GRM-10-500 which is described as only "Nissan Intake Adapter." I ordered one and got it and went to put it on and the holes didn't line up? It wouldn't go on any way I turned it so I tried to call them but I got a busy signal. I really wanted to install my intake so I just drilled some new holes and finally got it on there. My intake works fine now but has anyone else ordered this part from Summit? Did they just send me the wrong part or what? I havn't talked to them yet but I bet they are closed on Sunday. Thanks.

As with any parts order, if you think there's was an error or feel there might have been an error, leave the product in pristine returnable shape. But I know, I do it too, I want to get it in, so you do anything possible. I say you might have gotten a wrong part and you probably should have returned it.

Well, that would have taked over a week and I got it in with no problems. I probably should have returned it but I managed. I just wanted to know if anyone else had ordered this part and had it fit or not. Oh well.

A question about the intake install. I was going to take that stock scoop thing off that brings air in but it had some sensor attached to it and it also branched off somewhere under the battery. What is it doing under there?? I had it off until I saw the sensor and then put it back. Is that an air temp sensor? If so, won't the computer be a little off since that air sensor is measuring outside air coming in and the air the intake is actually getting is warmer because of the engine?
