Well I got lined up next to an old S4 today, 1993 to be exact. I've seen the car before, it's very nice, 16" BBS wheels and I think it might be lowered a bit. I nodded at him because I liked the car, and he nodded back. When the light turned green we both took off normally (lucky for me) and then at about 5 or 10 mph he punched and I was just a fraction of a second behind. First gear he pulled about 3 feet on me, and I gained about 1 foot when he shifted, and lost it when I had to shift, we have taller gears than they do apparently. Same deal in 2nd, he pulled another 3 feet or so, and I gained back a foot when he shifted, and lost a foot when I had to shift again. To the top of 3rd, 90 MPH or so, he gained another 3 or so feet. So by the time we let off for the upcoming light my front bumper was at his rear door.

We talked through the next red light. I said I liked his car and he asked what I had, I said the engine was stock and he was like "I've always liked Maximas." I stupidly forgot to ask what mods he had if any, I heard a BOV but other than that I suspect he was stock. We talked about some other stuff for a minute, and then went our separate ways. His girlfriend apparently found all this quite boring, as she yawned about 3 times during the time we were talking at the light

Later in the night a modded Probe GT was driving like a moron... trying to roll through lights as they were about to turn green, but was basically in the intersection before it turned green. So at the next stoplight I handed him his butt through 1st and 2nd and he promptly ducked in behind me and turned off.

hold on neal

if you heard a BOV, then he must've had a S/C or Turbo. To have a BOV on a NA engine is asinine. Unless the stock S4 is a turbo or sump'm.

Hehe yes they are turbo.... the 92-93 S4 was a single turbo I-5, the new ones are twin turbo V6.

The 92-93 S4 had 227 hp and 258 ft-lb of torque, and are of course all wheel drive. They are very heavy, about 3500 lbs. I've done alot of research into these because I almost bought one about 2 months ago, but it was in pretty bad condition.
