Tire Presseure for 95-96 SE
I just had 215/60-R15s installed on my 96 GLE and wanted to know what tire pressure I should run. The sticker in the console is for the stock size. Any of you know off the top of your head the right tire pressure?

Let me verify this: The sticker in the SE's console says 33 front, and 31 rear? Thanks guys.

Thanks

Huh?

A little less understeer, a little more grip, a little sharper steering.

Don't you get better grip (worse gas mileage) with lower pressures because more of the tire is on the road, and better gas milage (less grip) with higher pressures because less tire on the road means less friction?

That theory applies to straight line traction. For cornering, the higher pressure makes the tire stiffer. This makes it deform less under lateral loads. Less deformation keeps more contact patch on the the road. Running more pressure in the front that the rear means the front has more grip, helping to reduce understeer.
