cleaning the windshield??? RainX etc
#1
I just recently bought Nissan OEM wipers, but can't say they are too fantastic. Or do I just need to somehow clean the windshield (is that something that can be (need to be) done)? Also, what's with RainX? Does it work? i remember reading here that somebody ruined their windshield. Can that actually happen?
Thanks

As far as I've seen I haven't experienced any problems with Rain-X. I've used it here for about 4 years on all of my cars, Maxima, Civic, Protege...no problems. It's actually worked great for me. Here in Utah it does wonders with the snow , it flies right off in the winter, rain does the same thing. I don't know what issues other people were having with it but mine have been all good. Anyone have problems with it???

The one thing I dont like about it is that after awhile it starts scratching the windshield...Little hairline scratches...but thats only if you dont replenish it every few months...and if you dont replenish it every few months it leaves a residue on your windshield and its a pain..
