I just graduated college and recently got my 1995 Maxima GLE a few months ago, about 40K miles. I wanna personalize it and make some performance enhancements, but I dont know where to start. I definitely don't want to increase the fuel usage too much because i just got out of college. I was wondering what people would suggest and where they would suggest going. What i have been thinking about is a FSTB, Rear Sway Bar, CAI, and eventually a new exhaust. I was also wondering if name brands matter on any of those, ie a stillen FSTB versus one from courtesyparts.com.

I also recently heard about a computer upgrade for the transmission computer chip and also make fuel use more efficient. Is that available for the 1995 Maximas and where can I have one made?
