I have my aftermarket air filter for a while now and it looks like it needs to be clean. I know K&N makes some sort of cleaning solution. I was wondering what's the recommended time span before you clean your air filter. And what do you suggest you use. Any info and suggestions would help. Thanks!!!

I've been wanting to get around to cleaning my JWT filter, but was wondering how long does a cone filter take to completely dry? Since i do not have a backup source of transportation, how long will this take?

On my old filter i had in a different car I never really used the cleaning stuff all that much. Alot of times just a good hard spray with the hose and a paintbrush ot clean it out some. After that usually just wiping it clean and then flicking the water off got it pretty dry and if i let it dry out any more than that i was good to go.
