ok, im trying to help out my friend w/ this problem. i know theres a section that talks about checking your engine light thing yourself. I've read it but im unclear about his one thing. When i go to take off the cover for the switch thing near my gas pedal. theres two plastic screw type things. Am i suppose to just pop that out w/ a flat head screw driver or something. Will it break? Im afraid i might break that plastic piece. Because those 2 screw things rn't really screws. Let me know.. thanks

 

I just pulled straight out and they popped off with no damage. A screwdriver would probably work just as well.
