I'm looking to upgrade to 17's soon and want to make a somewhat-informed decision on wheel weight & strength.

There are many websites listing wheel weights (either manufacturer's sites or user pages) but little information on wheel strengths. I tried searching the archives but couldn't come up with anything useful. Also, I'm new to the wheel-buying world so brand names don't mean too much to me.

So, where can I find information on wheel strength by brand and model? Or (better yet) can anyone tell me of their experiences with the following:

- Konig Tantrum's
- Enkei CDR9's
- Volk TE37's
- MAK Sonic's

In a perfect world I could find lightweight, strong & cheap wheels. However, if I can find some balance in the strength / cost equation, I will be happy.

Thanks in advance, TOM

Don't know about a strength table.

But you can probably find wheel weights here:
