tps? trottle position sensor where your car starts to choke!!! Im just curious to know. And how long did it take you to resolve it. I called a couple of nissan dealership and they want around 150 for the part.. It was only 60 bucks last year or so... darn nissan.. please post your thoughts thanks!

I replaced the TPS about 4 monts ago, I dont really understand what the point of this post is though, im not really clear on what your trying to ask. By resolve do you mean to install the TPS or resolve a problem? My car didnt start to choke, I just got a MIL light and it pointed to the TPS, I reset the light and it came on a few days later so I bought the TPS for 154 bucks and installed it. Never had a problem since. Take Care

on my suv, this part is infamous for failures, i'm not sure about the max though. what's the dealer reccommended replacement schedule for this part?

I asked the nissan dealership about that too and he said that you shouldnt have to worry about them going bad, well mine did and my buddies did and his dads did they both had 95's I have a 97 mine went bad at around 90K miles theres were at about 123K take care

well to me that's pretty good, i think the one on my trucks last only about 45,000mi or so.

i picked up a tps for 130$ with a 20%discount off 159.oo i was curious to know how many people changed their tps.. Also to those who have changed their TPS, have you installed an aftermarket intake? Curious to know if anything is related for making the TPS go bad. thanks
