HeLP!!My Apexi is melting my rear Valence and Bumper

i have an apexi cat bak on my 4th gen... a few days ago i drove through a lil flood....ever since then my rear valencc and bumper have slowly started to melt..

my tip doesnt stick out..its a little insde..but this never happend before...iva had the catbak for about a month but this jus started...

U guys things it could b because theres water inside the muffler? any suggestions would help

im not getting any kinda of hazard lights showing up on my dash yet...

how about putting a metal plate, between the bumper and the exhaust that is sure to help, ask any BMW guy what the use when they slap a DTM on!

Is it the steam that's melting the bumper? I would just put some duck tap on that section and drive around until you don't see anymore steam coming out. It might take few days.
