WHERE did you get them from?!?!?

I've been looking all over for them!!!

PLEASE let me know...I've had Tokico shocks sitting in my living room for a month waiting on springs.

Oops, in my excitement, I forgot to answer your question:

Generally, get your car lowered and then get an alignment after a few days (give the new springs time to settle), then just watch your tires VERY closely for about 2 months...This, of course, is if you don't want to spend the money on a camber kit.

If you have the extra cash, then get one.

Most cars I've seen don't end up needing them, however.

I've had mPrints on for about 18000 miles. There have been no alignment or uneven tire wear problems. You dont need a camber kit. But you do need something better than Tokico struts. They are totally inadequate. Mine are all limp **** now from the stiff springs. Save up for Konis or wait for AGXs...

I would, except...

They might not let me do it every 6 months for the rest of my life as each seccessive set wears out. PLus, I cant have my car off the road for however long it takes them to get me a new set...every 6 months.

Oh yes...those are the springs I should have gotten.

Alex at Southwest Autoworks was having issues getting his Sprints, and told me "any day now".

I called Impact and they said they had 1 set left, but I made the mistake of waiting on Alex to get them...he never got them....the guy that sold you those springs got the last set from Imapct.....dammit.

It's a painfully small world.....I unfortunately noticed them in the FS forum about 10 minutes after you bought them.

MZMTG-
How low are your mPrints??
It could be that htey are too low for the tokicos to handle.
Or it could just be that tokicos suck, which is unfortunately what I've heard alot....but I already bought them.

You could just put your factory shocks on until you get the tokicos back.

It's not that they Sprints are too low. They are too stiff. I wouldnt say thtat the Toks suck. They are a high quality part. They just aren't designed for stiff lowering springs, which is all of them.

I don't have my factory struts, they went right in the garbage. Plus, that would mean changing struts and getting an alignment 4 times a year...INSANE. I'm just gonna get some AGXs.

that sucks for you...but is excellent for me! ...does anyone know how much longer they will be on back order?....

I also ran into a bad situation today...i found out that when i ordered the koni's from Greg@custommaxima.com..that i didn't send the right amount...so i had to send more money today...and now it will pry be another 7-10 days before i will be able to install my sprints/konis...this sucks...nothing ever goes the way it should for me

That's OK...the more I hear about Sprints th last couple of days, the more i think I'll just get some Eibachs...Don't want a harsh ride, and i live in Downtown Seattle.....lots of rain=lots of potholes.

Besides, no need to boast about it, man.

I simply made a wrong decision...i had no way of knowing at the time.

im not boasting about anything..i was simply stating a fact, "your lose=my gain" and i was also just asking a question..."if anyone knew how long they are on backorder" so gear down!

I thought Eibachs have the same ride quality/harshness as Sprints?...

that's cool man....a month isn't so bad....what kinda struts do you have?...personally if i was you I would wait for the sprints...In my opinion why even get the eibach's...they only drop it like an 1" and that's kinda pointless considering that they are more expensive than the sprints anyway...and no matter what..when you lower your maxima your going to be given up some of the "comfort" in the way it rides...so just hold out for the sprints...

Yeah, but what sucks is that it's already been a month....Grrrrr.

Let me know how harsh the ride is when you get yours in, OK?

Sprints from Impact

They told me today about two weeks on the Sprints. I previously ordered a set from Alex, but when I got them, there were only three Springs in the box!? I have also heard Eibachs are about the same harshness as Sprints. The softest spring seems to be H&R. Check custommaxima.com for those. I want at least a 2" drop, so I'm getting the Sprints. What the hell, my car is already loud as hell, why not make it bumpy too while I'm at?
