I just had my place racing CAI installed this morning. When i got home and got a good look at it ...i noticed that there was some red silicone used behind the headlight where the hole was cut to seal around the actual intake. After looking at some pics of other CAI's installed i think i should have gotten a black rubber gasket from place racing when they shipped it to me. Anyway, i was wondering if it is OK to have this silicone down there?? Doesnt silicone melt after getting hot? Is there anywhere i can go buy a little black rubber gasket to use instead of the silicone that the shop used to install it?
