I agree. I'm not sure that I like the contrast. I prefer the mono-window look.
Someone a while ago suggested using de-natured alcohol to get adhesive off surfaces. You can get it at any paint supply store.
If you guys take that black part off make sure to wax it immediatly.

Re: New Color
It's photoshopped, but I think that is the color of my car, just in a different light. That's what my car looks like in the shade too.

Dude, when did you paint your car blue? That looks really sweet. It almost looks like Shadows' car, but I prefer the color you chose.

As many of you know, the door pillars on Maximas are prone to fading. I'm talking about the black plastic part between the front and rear doors. I've sold a lot of the carbon fiber vinyl to various members here to cover up the fading. I just found out something interesting tonight. The black plastic is removable. The faded part is just thick adhesive backed vinyl and comes right off. My friend who is prepping my car showed me today. He just pulled the black faded piece right off and underneath is body colored metal. If you clean the adhesive off, it's in perfect shape. I don't know if this holds true for all '95-99 Maximas, but it's how it is on mine. So my question is, how many of you have removed this piece? If I had known it was removable, it would have gone a long time ago.

Shadow....
Do you have some sort of vinyl sheets that I can cut things out of, which is flexible, durable and holds well on the exterior to sustain washes and the weather??????????
I need some, either black/gray carbon fiber-like... or just plain black.... I want to cover up my chrome door handles and window trim Please let me know, I'd like to buy a good chunk of this stuff to experiment, that is, IF you have something like that. Thanks.
