Well, the Max cost 10 with change, tax, auction + dealer fees is close to 12.
I had just thrown 600$ in repairs in my 3rd gen before I sold it. So that would put me close to 13 grand on Maximas... Nearly 14 if you count insurance

I am officially in the most broke stage of life I have EVER been in. All savings spent on cars and college tuition, and i mean ALL. To top it off, I owe a couple of G's from the parents, plus I gotta buy books for school. damn!!!!!!!!

 

I spent about $300 total on my car over the summer.

 

Lets just say that my credit cards have been maxed out almost 3 times now... I think i need another credit card... muahahaha

 

...makes me sick just thinking about it. See everything in my signiture under 'sitting in my garage', well all that and more. This does not include the painting of the things that need to be painted. I'm thinking about $5k+ when it's all done. Ouch. And of course, probably like you guys, my family thinks I'm nuts.

 

Something like $6K now, I don't even know anymore.

Well, let's count the mods off...WS Y-pipe, Rims, TIres, New speakers all around incl sub and 2 amps, about 1200 dollars give or take a couple.

 

plans before 2002: lowering the car,CAI,finnishing up engine bay dress up, trenz grille, alluminum dash...about $1000....or more

 

I spent $2600 on mods if my math is correct, that doesn't count the limted slip differential I am buying within the next few days.

I just started about a month ago on the speed and handling mods, but with the system I'm in the area of $3800. without the system its about $320. I don't regret it at all. Except for the system install, which i should have paid someone to do. This winter will probubly(sp) be about the same.

 

Were you one of the ones that were honestly going to buy one from the thread about a month ago? If so, Im sorry that the other guys messed it up for you.

Somewhere in the range of 800 bux, I needed tires for my 17's, and I didn't want that SUV look either, so I had to put some Eibachs on there as well, and little things like fog light bulbs and a cornering light, cuz mine was busted. Not too much, but enough.
