I have a chance to get a good deal on a front and rear strut bar and an intake from a fellow member. I heard the rear strut bar is not really effective... Can anyone confirm this? thanks.

I have both and you can't really notice a difference with the rear bar on. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. If you are getting a deal on a package and it is included then why not, right?

I have the rear bar and haven't noticed any difference with it. But I did add it after I had all my other suspension mods already, so it may make a difference on a less modified car. But if I were to redo the decision, I would have saved my $60 (and trunk space).

I have it and it does make a difference, albiet not as much as the front. I added it on after I did everything else (FSTB, RSB, Shocks & Springs, then RSTB). It tied down the back end just right, completed the rear end. Feel it as soon as I drove out of the driveway. For me, it is definitly worth it. It takes up minimal room in the trunk, and is a cheap mod that makes a difference. Install them at separate times so you can feel the difference each part makes...

I put mine on after I had done the front and installed the anti sway bar. I did not notice one bit of difference and I wish I had saved the trunk space and not cut the carpet.

Now I understand why so little people actually have the RSTB here... I'll save for the RSB.

The Bar that goes inside your trunk is not effective. The one that goes under the car is. Rear Rear tower brace is what its called i believe. I will get it too when i get more $$. Enjoy,,,,

Oh... you'll feel the difference immediately. I felt it just pulling out of my driveway. And whenever I install a RSB on someone's car... the first thing I tell them to do is to drive around my neighborhood (lots of twists and turns) and they always come back looking like this:

Heh heh heh!

The one that goes inside the trunk is the Rear Strut Tower Brace (RSTB). The one that goes under the beam axle is the Rear Sway Bar (RSB).

If you're serious about the RSB you should hurry and check the group deals thread Addco sway bar for $55. It is a lengthy thread, but eventually, you can get an Addco RSB for $115.00 which is the cheapest I've ever seen. I think Custommaxima.com is also running a deal. Mine is ordered.
