Hey guys... quick question... i am trying to find web sites or hell.. anywhere in general where i could find guages/ instruments clusters... etc... for the maxima... anyone have a good place to check out? i had some web sites from a while back that had good stuff... i just cannot remember where anymore...

My main goal/question for this post, is to try and find Canadian speedometer guages... i bought a US car but live in canada... hehe. But at the same time i was curious what can be done with the current guages, what's already out... etc...

I can always tell the cop i wasn't speeding cause i was going "100"... but he might just giggle or sumthin... hehe

any help would be awesome...

Hmm at the same time anyone else who might be looking for information on guages and stuff (conversions, blue led installation...etc...) might be able to look at this thread for information... I did a search for info on this... but it never gave me the info i was looking for...

So if anyone has links, tips, tricks... post them... it will probably be handy and helpfull for others

Thanx,

Frank

First off, what year Maxima do you have? And what trim level? (Gxe? Gle? SE?)

There are white faced gauges (if you don't have a SE) that can be purchased from http://www.importintelligence.com

They also sell indiglo needles.

If your car is a 95-97, you can swap out the bulbs in the gauge cluster. There are five #194s. There was some recent talk about swapping them with some LED 194s.

http://www.maximadriver had a deal going with Initial K for some indiglo gauges as well. They had some Canadian versions. MaximaDriver also had directions on how to take apart your dash to get to the bulbs in the gauge cluster.

There are also directions here: http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/nissan/dash/
