What are your impressions of it? I know its not fully SS but at least its quiet...right?! Does this unit have a resonator on it? How big is the tip? I dont want a stupid looking meatball tip. Last question, what did you pay for it? I can get it through my job for $375 shipped. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I have it on my 97, it does have a small res built into it, sounds decent, I got very good power gains with cat/y/apex (I installed all at the same time), I think it is below, if not go to the TX regional forum, and look at pics from the Texas meet, the rear pic of my car is the 4th from last (right before Climax pictures), got it for 425 shipped, and tip is about 3.75" I think. Pain in the #*% to install on 97-99 if you want an O2 sensor, which I did.

Pics

Here is the Apexi the day I got it:

Here is while I was installing it:

http://www.rit.edu/~ejj5875/maxima/img/apexi_install/

Everything bolted right up, but the tip of the muffler was rubbing the bumper just a little. I was going to take it to an exhaust shop the morning after I put it on, but that is when I got in my accident

I took it out once, and noticed a few things:

- It is way quiter than my old exhaust combo (Stock B -> Stillen Muffler)
- The power is there! With my heavy a$$ 17's I normally can not chirp the tires going into second unless I power-shift. With this exhaust I can chirp, and even spin the tires easily!

No 1/4 times, I'll go as soon as I get my back back though!

Hey dude, hook me up with the $375 WS!!! get a group deal going haha. Well, are there any fitment problems for the 97-99 Maximas or does it fit right on? I know there are those problems with other exhuasts where you need custom tubing.
