It's okay when the filter is new or newly cleaned. Other than that and fact that you can clean it(vs replacing it), it's about the same as a normal paper filter. Buy it for encomony of purchase over the long run, not for performance.

 

I think any gains you think you might feel are psychological. a good purchase though
