Window motor going out?
I was wondering if there is anyway to know if my driver side window motor is going it. It rolls up extremely slow, and when it has about 2 inches or so left to close, it kind of speeds up. Any suggestions?

Lower the window all the way. Spray the window channels with silicone spray lubricant. Use the long red plastic "straw" to deliver the lube to the lower part of the channels which are down inside the doors. Wipe off any overspray which lands on painted surfaces. This should produce an immediate improvement. If it doesn't, you may have a problem with the power window motor or regulator. Servicing those parts requires removal of the inside trim panel.
when my passenger side motor went bad it sounded like a rock or something was scratching the window...i even tried lubing it up with the door panel off but the it was the motor....just lettign u know that maybe if you here a scratching noise it could be the motor going bad.
