HomeLink question.
Hi,
I was trying to setup the HomeLink option on my Max. What was happening was that the remote for the garage door is dead. Only my Mom uses the garage for her cars but when she is away I like to grab her spot. So I figured why not set it up so i can use it. She has it on her infinity and it is nice setup. But after finding the remote dead and it doesnt look like it can be fixed I was wondering if there was another way to get it done. I have the frequency of the back of the remote, is there a way that the dealership could use that and put it into my HomeLink setup somehow? Or maybe even a way for me to do it?
Thanks
SuDZ

The homelink in your car "learns" the code from your working remote. Sorry, but that dead remote's gotta get working somehow. It isn't a simple battery change to fix??
The only other suggestion I can make is that, if the Infiniti is available, have the Max and the I30 face each other bumper to bumper, and go thru the "learning" process while a friend presses the button on the Infiniti.
