Does anyone know where I can find the full 4 piece set of clear tail lights without having to get another job to pay for them. The only ones I can find at a reasonable price are for the 2 piece set which don't include the pieces on the trunk. Thanks

I found the 2 piece sets at a few different internet sites, the cheapest at $132, but that still seems like a lot for only 2 pieces. I think it won't look right with half clear, and half clear/red. I will let you know if I find a four piece set.

What site is it where you saw them for $132. I'm interested in them. I'll probably end up painting the bottom portion to match the brake light

Not bad. Shipping is $9. They might not include any bulbs.

As for painting, it will never look like OEM. That's because you get this "clear outside" effect when painting the inside of the lens. If you paint the outside of the lens, it will have a different shine to it and also be prone to scratches. Not to mention that you really need $30 VANS spray paint to make it match properly.

I'm looking into a couple of sources for having the lenses cut and refitted professionally, so that it will look more like OEM. Granted you may see a little more obvious seam between the clear and red portions, but at least it will look right at night and up close.

Red/Clear tails?

Are the going rate around 180 for these still? I dont want complete tails but the ones that still have the red and just get rid of the orange. Anyone know of a place that has a good deal on these? I want to try it myself and get it for free but dont want to break the lenses or anything. Anyone done it before?

If you're looking for a 4 piece set, give up. They don't make them. The only thing you can do is have half clear, half red/clear, or paint the bottom of the outside clear so that you have all red/clear. I've seen it look awesome, because when painting, they go ahead and go over the red on the inside with the same paint to even it out. If you don't like those ideas, you can buy altezzas. Otherwise, stock it is. If you decide to go with clears, E-bay is the place to look. I've seen 'em go for as cheap as 75 bucks for both pieces.

Peace

Why do they make all full clears for all models but the 95-96?
