Ok, I cannot in any way afford a Stillen Big Brake or Wilwood Brake Kit. So, I guess that I am just going to upgrade my rotors and pads. My question is, Will the Brembo Rotors rust? I have seen some on eBay that claim they will not rust, is this true? Here are some links to the eBay auctions selling the Brembos, but these don't say they will not rust. Also, where is the cheapest place to get these? Thanks all.

I saw those auctions too, and I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully somebody out there knows.

Those do not look to be cadmium plated.

Also, on the twinturbo.net (Z forum), others have mentioned the "Brembo" rotors purchased off of ebay did not have any cadmium coating so they started rusting immediately.

I heard they rust and crack. You can spray them with high temp brake paint to avoid the rust, good luck with the durability.

Only Cadmium plated rotors won't rust. I bought the last set of non-cad plated brembo slotted rotors that www.fastbrakes.com sold... lucky me.... the part of the rotor that the pads doesn't touch has rusted significantly. Doesn't affect performance, just looks ugly. Cad plated rotors generally have a brighter silver finish than non-plated rotors.

Nope, I'm in PA. My license plate frame says "Eat Rice" on the top, "www.EatRiceZone.com" on the bottom
