Just a quick question: I've seen several people post "automagic" in their sig line. Is this some special mod they've done on their automatic transmissions?

it's a joke....

Gary,

Hey man the term Automagic is how a normally mod'd automatic is magicly 1.0 sec's slower through the 1/4 mile then a comparably mod'd 5-speed...

My 5-speed se can cut a 14.88 1/4 mile and thats faster then some auto's with 50-shot of NOS... Now that's magic HAhAHa LOL!!

Gary,

Automagics are special, but the 'magic' is a secret. I can not tell you what it is.

um, yeah.... right

Well, I still didn't get a straight answer. I guess that says it all.

I'm glad I have a 5 speed!

Although a tiptronic would be nice. I test drove an Acura with one and it's amazingly fun. Kind of nice not needing a clutch but still getting that control... although shifting is only sequential and there's no gradual easing into neutral (like with a clutch pedal). But hey, you can't beat that slip into automatic when there's traffic.

So, why the heck did Nissan leave out a tiptronic for 2002? Idiots...

Automagic could be a type. "t" and "g" keys are quite close to each on the keyboard....

Good god Red, that is by far the nicest Max I've ever seen, barnone. Where did you buy those rims? I've only seen one other max that color, and it's gorgeous.
