Trouble starting car since new clutch instally? Help>
I had a nissan oem clutch installed yesterday and now I have issues with starting the car. The problem seems to occur about 80% of the time. What happens is I turn the key and the starter cranks and the rpms bounce from .0-.3 RPM just for about two seconds and the car shakes a little bit and then it starts up and runs perfect{after 2 or 3 seconds}. My car has always started up perfectly until yesterday when my clutch was installed by a half **** mechanic. The guy seems like a real amature, he left out 2 bolts {#'d 9}, drained my MTL from the wrong bolt which inturn made him lose the spring & and barring that holds the 1-2 gear in place, he also forgot to plug in my speedo! I went back today and made him put the 2 bolts back in which were located near the starter and plug my speedo in and then put the spring and barring back in place. It's a good thing I know a good amount about cars. Anyways what could be causing my car not to start correctly now? Any ideas? Maybe a ground or a plug is not connected properly? Thanks a lot for your help.

Refer to the Chilton repair manual (page 4-21) or the Haynes repair manual (page 6-12) for a depiction of this sensor and its location. You may test the sensor with an ohmmeter. The resistance should be 470-570 ohms at 68 degrees F.

A careless technician may have overlooked this detail and attempted to remove the tranny without first disconnecting this sensor. Rrrrippp! This might have damaged the harness, the connector, or the sensor. Please check on this.

kaltex, I appreciate you trying to help, but there is no electrical circuits in the key's on a 4th gen max. So I don't understand what you mean?
Dropped starter?

... Is there maybe a ground or a wire of some sort I can check? ...
