I just started getting that screaching noise last night and I hear what you're saying about being embarrassing around the ladies. But I've noticed that mine only does it in reverse, anyone know why? I talked to my neighbor and he said his audi has had similar problems that only occure in reverse situations. He said that sometimes when the rotor wears that the pad will hit it making the screaching noise, but wouldnt that make the screaching noice occure when ever the pad hits the uneven spot instead of a constant screach?

Shut up LURKER BOY!!! HA!!!!!!! J/k John! Contrary to your belief, whe in reverse, the rotor has already 'worn' towards the front, meaning most of the time the pads are rubbing in one motion, that being foward motion, cuz how many times do you brake hard in reverse? So I say John, lets get yours and my rear rotors fixed this weekend, kewl enuff? Oh yea, I looked for ~10 seconds this morning, and didn't find ny more sil-glide, sorry man.
