ABS Light On
#1
Heres the story, I was in town doing the "Laps" and someone spread oil at a turn in the road, the police came etc and spread sand. So I come back and the sand made the road quite smooth, so I burned out. then abs light come on. The speedo read 100 at the time (100 km/hr). Could the sand have done something to the sensor on one of the front wheel?
Anyway, I turned the car off and turned on and it went out but wheels still lock up. Any ideas anyone?

That happened to me one night trying to get up my driveway in the snow. The next day after I took the car out for a ride the light went off. It seems the sensors go on becuase the tires slip and then the ABS ECU thinks that the sensor on that wheel is defective thus causing the ABS light to appear on the dash. I say take it for a nice 15 minute ride, let the car sit a few minutes and then start it up. The light should shut off after that, if not maybe the next day.
