Those diagnostic codes DO NOT go back to a cylinder misfire, the go back to the EGR system valve and the Knock sonsor, go back and read the correct error codes please.

You may have been reading the wrong column in the Haynes repair manual.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes come in two "flavors"...
- ECM Codes which the home mechanic can read
- Scan Codes which the technician can read with a CONSULT or a commercial scan tool.
Both sets appear in the Maxima factory service manual, the Chilton repair manual, and the Haynes repair manual.

ECM codes are always 4 numerics. Scan codes are always the letter P followed by 4 numerics. The P stands for Powertrain. The two sets of codes have no correlation. I do not know why there are two sets of Codes.

All of the 4Gen DTC information in the Sticky are ECM codes.
