my two cents

if you just order the front spoiler on your max. it will look damn good as long as you have the bottom of your molding painted the same color. and have mud flapps on too and the same color. looks good and it will save you money... my friend did that and it looks good.

That mud flap...

idea sounds great and saves a couple hundred. Where is the best place to get mudflaps. I have seen them on spoilers4less.com.

I checked spoilers4less and the flaps they have are only for 1995-1996 maximas. I have a 1997. Where can I get flaps for my 97. Thanx.

I have an extra set of mud guards

I ordered an extra set for a friend but he never took them out of the box. I payed a rediculous amount for them, but they are genuine. Let me know what you think is reasonable. In my opinion, it'll look better shaved a bit. The maxima is a round, chubby car, the mud guards would look better a little shorter and rounder.

What technique did you use to shave your mudflaps? Mine are in desperate need of a trim.

I haven't done it yet

I'm waiting for my lip to get here. I plan on doing the painted mud guards and front lip setup. total cost me $220 minus the cost of mud guard paint. In terms of shaving the mud guards, I have a heat gun, a bunch of files, and all sorts of sandpapers.

Someone is selling theirs

Apparently, the guy is having trouble with his Eibach lowered maxima with 18's. He said a lowered maxima with the front lip is a chore to drive around, he's scared to hit parking stops, driveways, etc. He's also going to hook me up with a Y-pipe for a really low price. As it turns out, he's trying to sell his 18's with tires because he just mounted on 19's. I'm buying his Y-pipe, but I'm not sure if I want to use it...we both live in California and he warned me that I should replace the stock muffler and cat as the y-pipe may deteriorate the other components.

My sister however doesn't like the front lip, so I'm not sure how long the lip will be on the car. It's coming tomorrow.
