alarm question

Does anyone know if whether or not this shock senser will work with the factory alarm system? I have a '98 GXE with the S&C package, so I have the keyless and passive alarm system. A friend of mines have the same shock senser in his '00 Accord, and it works, but was wondering about the Max. Also, anyone know how to install it? Which wires to tap into? Thanks.

no one? anyone? I tried searching for it, but havent found a post that tells you exactly where you are suppose to wire the trigger wire from the inside of the car, not the outside. Cause I read one post where the guy said you can hook it up to the hood trigger, but I dont want to go through the trouble of bring in the wire through the firewall. Umm, by the way, its sensor, not senser - typo.

im PRETTY SURE but not POSITIVE that you cant attatch a shock sensor to the factor alarm. maybe it depends on the brand of car and/or the brand of shock sensor but if i remember correctly from work this summer a technician told me you cant install a sock sensor to the factory alarms.

i really could be wrong. you should check with someone who knows for sure. you're welcome to call 703-820-5400 and ask to speak to Patrick or Chris (you probably would get more useful info out of Chris). they will be able to tell you for sure. but do me a favor and dont tell them who told you to call.

Ok, thanks. I'll give them a call tomorrow, Saturday, or if not, then Monday. Thanks.
