Spring Question????

I've got a set of H&R's coming and I've seen some guys talk about doing the job without a spring compressor. How exactly is the job done without the compressor? Is the spring actually easy enough to compress with just some force?

Any feedback and detailed disassembly / assembly info. without a compressor would be appreciated.

U need the compressors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most definitley need them to remove the stock springs. However when you replace them with the H&R's, because they are approximately the size of the compressed stock springs, body weight will be sufficient enough to get the center bolt on and then just tighten it up.

This is what I did when I installed my eibach last Saturday. The istall is very fresh in my mind so hollar if you have more questions.

There is no way to get the stock springs off without compressors. When you loosen the centerbolt the spring will buckle and "jump", most likely causing serious injury.
