Re: Prices on stuff for the maxima...

Check out their lists prices on their site and subtract like 20% , that should be correct.

Not too much help, I don't like Stillen very much so the only thing I have by them is the aero-kit.

I believe I paid $720 through Phuong, I forget exactly.. It could have been as high as $780 but the first one sounds right to me.

Just being in the right place at the right time
Actually, I have Vic and Greg to thank for some of the items I mentioned. IMO- If you can afford Stillen retail prices for Maxima aftermarket products, you can save that money and invest in a better car to begin with

Re: Stillen Body Kit

Actually, I am considering getting either the Stillen Kit or the Sarona kit. I am not sure how easy will it be to fit. Also, I do not plan to repaint my whole car. Just the ground effects.

Did you/your body-shop have much problems installing the Stillen Body kit? How did the installation + paint run you?

Thanks,

-dashingMax

Yeah I always wondered why that was so much. Also have no idea why people pay that much for it.

... why do people pay $200 DKNY shoes when they're made in Taiwan? (sorry fellow Taiwanese but its true). Silly what people pay for the 'name' and nothing more. I have the Stillen cap b/c an old bud wanted me to have it (before he parted w. his Max).

Sarona will run you more $ as far as paint/ bodyshop labor is concerned. It took Sarona 5 weeks to make my kit and the craftmanship of Sarona kit is 'ok'. The bodyshop will need to sand it down more and prep-ing it for proper fitment. Other Sarona kit owners will tell you the same. If you just want the 'ground effect', I suggest you get the Stillen.

Man most I ever payed for shoes was $100 bucks on a pair of Doc Martens. I thought it was sooo expensive at 15. Then they lasted me till i was 19 wearing them every single day, so I cant complain there. But I know what you mean about paying for the name. Everyone goes for that it is all about them telling people after what they have. I think that is why Budget Exhaust had a hard time getting started in the Maxima Scene because ofthe name Budget alone. Everyone wanted Cattman or Stillen, they thought it just sounded better.
