nos...nos...nos...NOS

I need to know where to get nos for the cheapes price. My max is still stock (hopefully putting uo udp on tomorrow), and nos would make for an excellent sleeper max. Please help me show people in this hick town that I live in that the max is better than the stangs. Thanx

id look for a nitrous express, direct port kit. Start off with a smaller shot if you have no other mods (like intake, y pipe, catback, etc.) Im pretty sure the kit will come with a few extra jets.

RE: Cheapest Nitrous kit...

J.C. Whitney was selling our universal dry-manifold kit for $374. I think that was the cheapest and it might still be there.
Good luck (nitrous is awesome),

Ebay

I paid 320 shipped for the 5123 kit from NOS. Just search for Nitrous Oxide on Ebay. There are always Nitrous Kits from NOS, Nitrous Express and Zex for sale.
Good luck.

Since you don't have any mods then it's best to stick with a dry kit. You just don't drop in a wet kit (on a stock max) and expect everything to run smoothly.. I'm sure you will feel some kick and then KABOOM your engine will be in orbit with the International Space Station. Trust me, you can feel the oomph with a dry system.. I know from personal experience. If you do plan on getting a wet kit, get some pointers from 1MAX2NV.. He's got a wet kit.

As far as price.. its as cheap as $375 (J.C. WHITNEY to as much as over 1 grand for Venom Kits)

well I was watching tnn today and on one of those show horse power tv whatever. They explained dry, wet, fogger, plate systems. Put simply if your running fuel injection they recomend dry, if you do go wet the best bet is direct port on each cycl.
Just go with dry.

NOS sells purge kits as do Zex. The NOS purge valve did fit the Zex kit. Zex does sell purge valves now.

You need to be more specific. NX EFI system, direct port and plate system are all wet kit.

I believe the smallest shot you can go with NX direct port kit is 100 shot. I'm not positive, but that what NX told me when I called them last year. The smallest NOS direct port can go is 50 shot.
