Has any one had problems with the 100W H-3's melting the factory wiring harness?? Was thinking it would match my 100w APC superplasmas instead of that lame amber color

 

I have them in my OEM fogs but I recommend against them due to the heat they cause in the plastic housings. I don't usually run with the fog lights on but when I do they get real hot. Harnesses are still intact though.

 

Is there any brands other that butt ugly stock looking bulbs or the hella yellows? I heard that the hella yellows don't general last long.

 

I have superwhites in mine but they don't emit that HID look they are just whiter than stock

 

I know that Philips is making a Bluevision version for H3 fogs. Think that Redmax007 has them. Might want to get a review from him.

Stick to 55 watt bulbs. ANything higher and you'll risk melting the housing and/or connector harness due to the excessive heat.
