Lowering Springs??

I would like to buy some lowering springs for my car and lower it some. I am not to aware of the lowering stuff, so the question I had was do I HAVE TO replace the shocks, becuase I do not want to spend too much money.

i got sprint springs from www.2kracing.com and i didnt not change my struts(shocks) ive had them on for a few months now and my back struts are blown........so im driving on blown struts on the back springs and thats not good........eventually they will blow.....the front sturuts are stock and they are fine.....the sprints offer a 2 inch drop.. ii recommend saving up some more money and then buying the struts also because you will already ahve the car taken apart so might as well change everything all at once......

yes you should change your struts its even more important when your planning to drop the car low with springs like intrax that you mentioned. you will get a bouncey ride otherwise. i was looking into intrax myself but iread posts about them sagging. if you decide to change your struts i would look into kyb agx if they ever arrive kyb gr2 are suppose to be good and useres report that they are stiffer than factory struts.. but are still more of a replacement rather than a performance strut.. if its ride quality you want look into h&R and kyb gr2 or apex/kyb gr2 combo the apex are slightly lower with out much more degragtion to your ride...hope this helps, louis
