flywheel

Will it help much if I just installed an aluminum light flywheel and keep my stock clutch ?

It doesnt make sense because if you are going to replace the OE flywheel with an aftermarket one, might as well install a new performance clutch, same job makes no sense to do it twice.

Help what much?? It will allow your enging to rev faster when you hit the gas but it will also cause your engine to brake harder when you let off the gas or mash the clutch in. What are you hoping to do?? Also, like ybelm620 said, to get to the flywheel is a major mechanical feat. So as long as you're in there you should replace the clutch disk, pressure plate, and throwout/release bearing. Do a search on Flywheel or clutch to get more info.
