Testing a solenoid on a 95 max, urgent

does anybody know hoe to test a solenoid without a digital scope on a 95 max

I assume you are referring to the starter motor solenoid. This part is electric (not electronic). An oscilloscope is of no value in diagnosing the starter motor solenoid.

The Haynes repair manual (page 5-13) says ...

Backprobe the S terminal on the starter solenoid and check for voltage as the ignition switch is turned to the START position. This will determine if the solenoid is receiving the correct voltage signal from the ignition switch.

It is also worthwhile to clean and tighten the connections at both ends of both battery cables.

There have been complaints about weak starter motors on the '95 models.
