Warning: Newbie type question annoyance factor may apply


I recently purchased a '95 Australian spec A32 Maxima (similar to the US I30). I'm attempting to find out as much as I can about my factory color code of BM1. Yet to see any pics with a similiar color on the boards and I'm wondering whether it was even sold in the US on either I30 or Max's. The paintsearch website has it listed as Dark Blue Pearl metallic and for '95 only.

Emax95: Was this the code of your previously owned I30? It looks very similar in the few photos I've seen of it. Can you remember what the OEM color name was? Here it was Sovereign Blue, but may be different elsewhere.

I have a 95 SE with the BM1 paint code, and i live in the US(illinois to be exact.) The only color that i have seen that comes close to it is what they call Neptune Blue, but you can't really trust me on colors...i'm a little colorblind.
