has anyone taken apart the OEM factory fogs?

This is an ongoing this for me..... I remember reading about a yr. ago someone with a black 95-96 max who had taken apart the OEM fog and painted the reflector yellow... After searching for a while "person" I've given up trying to find them, as I don't think that they post here anymore... With that in mind, has anyone taken apart their fog lights? as in removing the glass from the plastic housing? I was just curious if this is a process similar to heating the taillights to separate the two pieces or what?... If anyone's done this I'd be interested to hear how... Thanks in advance!

i dont believe this has ever been done before. You can paint the out lense yellow and buy some Hella Yellow Stars. This has been done a few times by guys with 95/96's. But I wouldnt reccomend opening up the lense cause you will never get it to seal right again and risk it leaking water and fogging up on you.

Fog lights

I shot mine with yellow translusant spray it really worked. Looks like a GS 300 coming.

Contact PSing23. His buddy does a great job at this for $100. The fogs look stock until you turn them on, then it's GS yellow.
