Anybody with Intrax?
I'm thinking of dropping my 97 SE stick with Intrax springs. But first, what is the actual dropping distance of the springs? I've read 2" to 1.7". Anyway, I'm 18 years old (19 tomorrow :-)) and I can tolerate the most bone jarring ride in the world. I like the look of a slammed car too. I used to drive a 1990 camry that was lowered by intrax springs and KYB struts. From my experience with the camry springs, the rear was maybe lowered .25" or so. Anybody have any experiences with Intrax springs? What struts did you use? I have an addco RSB, and a FSTB on its way.
I have the Intrax springs
These springs are actually soft. I've ridden in Max with Eibachs and the intrax feels very comfortable. It lowers 1.75inches. The only prob i have is shocks. I have a Tokico, KYB shocks and neither of them are stiff enough to be adequate for the perf springs so the ride is a little bouncy. You can get the Koni adjustables $500.
Happy birthday!

Re: Intrax suck
I don't think Intrax suck. I've ridden in Max with Eibachs and its not that much softer. Dont get Sprint, they are cheap and I only hear bad things about them from Honda guys.

Intrax are not stiff enough for how much they lower the max. You will ruin your shocks or bottom out too often. If you want 2 inches, perhaps try Sprint Springs (www.sprintsprings.com) nopi has then.

Intrax Springs SUCK!
I just had my Intrax springs removed and sold on ebay. They SUCK! I was using them with Tokiko shocks. The ride was terrible! If you just want the low look, go for it. If you are looking for comfort and performance, Intrax is not the one. I have coil overs now, they are much better. Ride height is adjustable, so you can can go VERY LOW if you want, and ride is definitely much better than Intrax.

Intraxolio
They're low, don't worry. Haven't seen the Sprints yet but the Intrax drops the car a true 1.75" if not further when they settle.
They have a very nice ride but they are not nearly progressive enough... that is to say that they don't get stiffer as they go through the length of the suspension travel, so they bottom easily if you've got passengers.
I'm waiting for the first person to come on here raving about the Sprints and I'll probably make the switch.

Spring Upgrade
Have the Tokico/Eibach combo...yep, it's stiff but in combination with all the other suspension/handling upgrades they give be great control. If I lived in a state where the winters tear up the roads I probably wouldn't like them very much. Out here in the SW there's good road and lots of opportunity to push it.
Incidentally, I'm running 245x45AR18 tires now and have not had any problem with rubbing using the Tokico/Eibach set up which lowered the ride by 1.5 ~ 2 inches.
I'm thinking of changing to coil overs as the next step.
