Sarona Body Kit Install

I purchased the sarona body kit and brought it to a shop for painting and install. They called me today to tell me it was painted and i went to bring my car in to have them put the kit on. It was a mess. The sarona kit has pok holes in it from the molding machine and the shop just painted over it. It looks very poor, so just a warning if you are getting this kit installed there will be some custom work needed to fill in these pok holes with bondo and then to paint it. Plus there are no pre drilled holes that they can follow and that adds to the custom work a shop must do. Before buying the kit i got a quote of 300 to put it on. Now the quote is minimum 500. I am still having the shop repaint and fill the wholes and paying the extra money but just be aware installation is not as easy as it may seem on the kit. If anyone has also had an intall with the sarona kit please let me know how much u paid and what work was needed. thanks

Re: Sarona Body Kit Install

as far as i am concerned.. the price for the sarona kit, the paint and the install comes to 2000+. you might as well go to a body shop with a picture of the kit or something similar and tell them to fabricate one and paint and install it and it will be the same.. depending on things go financially i may be contacting "elite custom body and paint" to have them build me a kit.. almost worth it.

The Stillen Kit is dead sexy imo, while sarona reminds me of a Dodge Avenger

Again these are just my opinions, and nothing personal against anyone who has the Sarona kit

NO, Stillen requires screws/rivits to help secure it to the car correctly along with some double sided tape for extra strength.
My lip is help on by four screws along the front(from underneath), x1 screw into each fender(at bottom) and 3m tape along the entire lip. I did a hell of a job securing the thing on my car

Stillen provides you with some $hitty double sided foam tape and a bag of rivits. I threw them all out and used 3m body molding tape and self tapping screws.
