tire size- help

Im sure this has been answered dozens of times, but whats the max width of a tire I can fit in the back- I have 17" Konig Villains (not sure of the width, 8 or 7.5 im guessing. Anyways I replaced my fronts with 225/45s and I was wondering if I can go 235 in the back. Someone let me knwo- thanks

Re: tire size- help

why would you want to go wider in the back? Find out what size your rims are too. it should say on the inside of the rim somewhere. I think 235 would be better for 8" width' 225 for 7.5". I dunno.

Re: Re: tire size- help

I figure wider=more surface area=better grip- and the back ones dont turn so rubbing wouldnt be much of a prob- plus 10 mm is like the width of my pinky finger so I wouldnt think it would cause any problems, but then again im just thinkin out loud- Yall let me know what u reccomend
