Dash mats?
Who makes dash mats for the maxima? I'm trying to turn mine into a pimp-mo-bile, I got the leather seats, so I guess I need cloth on the dash.. and I like the idea of protecting it from the hot as ***** sun.
"Pimpin' ain't easy"
Well, if you really want to pimp that sucker out, you need the fake white fur upholstrey and dash cover like the pimp-mobile in Dirty Harry's Magnum Force. Complete the masterpiece with a pink paint job, white canvas top, and a half-dozen gold exhaust headers sprouting out of the front fenders. Then just make sure you don't get pulled over by any rouge motorcycle cops...

ick!
Dude, you have got one of the best looking cars out here, even without rims. Awesome color! For gods sake, do not put one of these on your car. Your choice, my opinion. However, this is not the ugliest thing you can do, that honor goes to the wannabe oldass american car lookin canvas top that some guy here in atlanta has. Your dash will outlast your car so don't worry about it.

dash mat alternatives
Hi:
I can appreciate your concerns about the sun beating down on your interior since I used to live in Tucson where one can burn their hands on ignitions and where they have sidewalk egg frying contests.
Even though I don't live in AZ anymore, I use a sunshade. Not the accordion cardboard type, but a collapsable fabric one. It looks like two circles with flexible wire inside. When you unfold it, it pops into shape and you set it up against your windshield. One side is metallic color to help reflect the sun. You can use the visors to hold it against the glass. These things work great and I use one from a company in CA. It helps dramatically to reduce the dashboard temp. as well as the entire interior. If you can't find them at the store, give me a holler and I will give you the name of the one I use.
GOod luck.
