Optima Batteries???

I am looking at getting a new battery. I was wondering if any of you have Optima Batteries, and how you like them.

I have a yellow top (Deep cycle) and love it. I've drained it twice on accident and charged it right up and haven't had any problems for 2 years.

What if your stereo system is pushing 2800 watts? Would it be worth it then?

Will a yellow top or red top handle a system like that?

Another Optima Red Top. Only 5K miles on it but so far so good. I liked the anti-vibration claim myself.

Actually, I really like my Red Top Optima. I went
through two stock batteries before I got this one
and it has already outlasted both of the stock
ones. Besides, the Red top has a 5 year warranty.

I went through a bunch of Die Hard's on my wife's
car before, so with the price of 2X the Die Hard,
I believe it is a bargain.

Got my Orange top for $125 at Batteries plus. The orange is just like the red except the posts are reversed so you can turn the battery around to make the connections easier.

redtop owner

Pretty solid stock battery use to hesitate on startup because of short trips(city driver)/heavy load use (2500 watt stereo system) redtop has never failed or hesitated.
