Hey, I know a stock WRX isn't quite enough to make me sell my '97 5-speed w/ 90k, but in the latest Sport Compact Car, the have I think 7 with upgraded turbos, etc., running 12's and one an 11.9 with a 4.7 0-60. BTW, car and driver just got a stock one 0-60 in 5.4. I think I may cross over to the dark side this spring.

I had an 84 and 88 Suburu 10 years ago each w/ 80-90k. No problems ever except the turbo gasket blew on the 88, but Suburu paid for most of it (even though car was not under warrenty).

I think it may be worth giving up some of the amenities of the Max for a true 4-door sports car. I love the Max though.
