Stillen Cross Drilled Rotors From EatRiceZone

I am considering purchasing the Stillen Cross Drilled Rotors and Pads from EatRiceZone.com.

Anyone that has them on their cars, I would appreciate your input.

Or any other recommendations on other brake setups?

Thanks...

Redmaxpa007 has the slotted w/ those pads. I was just in his car today, and I couldn't hear any noise. Phuong's a great guy to buy from. I would go w/ it. That's a great deal.

I got my Stillen Rotors from him. Great person to deal with, great brakes and lines.

Go for em! I've got the same package with SS lines. I noticed a huge difference at a Lapping Day I was in. Just be warned the Stillen Pads make you're front wheels REALLY dirty!!

Definatley buy them! I love them. I have the cross drilled ones and they do stop a little faster and look great. They do make the front wheels dirty, but hey, the looks of the rotors off sets that I think.

Phuong is the owner/operator of www.EatRiceZone.com which is the place this guy is going to order from. I do know Phuong from doing business with him and from a friend, althought I've never met him, his service is top knotch and his prices are very good. Order from him, you wont be dissapointed.

The rotors are great but I am getting squeal from the pads. I would try looking into another type of pad though.

Did you put PBC grease on the shim plates?

The Stillen rotors everyone is talking about are stock size, so yes, stock calipers are used.

That's one thing that I can't stand-is squealing from my brakes. I had this problem with my bmw. They deglazed it several times bf changing the pads and the squealing stopped. It was annoying especially on hot summer days.

Do you have the metal master pads? Do all stillen cross drilled rotors and metal masters combination squeal?

i've got the stillen slotted rotors and the stillen metal matrix pads, i dont get any squeal... occasionally, when i press the brake, at a slow speed, i can hear the pads rubbing against the rotors, kinda like a groan/grinding sound. that also when brakes havent been used overnight, but that is probably from the light rust that forms on the rotor.

The combination, if installed and broken-in correctly, should not squeel. I've used these pads on all of my cars and never had any problems. I've sold hundreds of brake pads and only a small handful have emailed me back with squeeling on occasion.

I do have the metal masters. I'll tell you I'm only getting squeal from the right front. I amy have to take them apart and inspect them before it get cold out. I would say that the metal masters are not as bad as some no-frills brand of pad.

Pepboys carries the CRC brand so they *should* have it. The CRC brake grease is a pinkish/reddish color.

I am going to pick it up. I have been lazy with the car and busy at work lately. Thanks.
