speaker Wiring

Anyone know of any documentation which would help me install speakers in my front door panels. I want to put components in the car and power them to an amp but I dont know If i should run wire directly from the speaker to the amp or if there is a harness i should buy. Is a stock amplifier? 98 max SE no Bose! Thanks

you should ask this ? in the audio forum , you will get much better help. And when you put in components you will have to wire them to a amp. When you connect anything to a amp , you always go with lower gauge wire.

Just disconnect the wire "plug" on the back of the stock speakers and leave it there and run new speaker wire from the amp to the speakers...since it's not Bose, they are just regular speakers, and don't need anything but speaker wire....

Next time post in the audio forum....

Thanks,
