Body Colored Door Pillars
im sure many of you are tired of the fading black of your door pillars, well we talked about this the other day, and we figured out that it is just cheap vinyl over pillars, not plastic, so with a heat gun you can remove it, i did and it looks tight, heres my pics

I was looking at the door pillers and it looks like they're wrapped around.
But there are a couple of spots where the black vinyl thing is chipped. So all I would have to do is to pick at it while heating it up?

well if you open the door you can see the wraparound and basically just pick at it, the heat is used to keep all the glue on the vinyl instead of the car, then pull, careful around the edges and pull it out from under the window trim, the fronts are easy but the backs are more difficult bc you have to get behind the window stripping, see the other post for some good directions
